| Bio: | My name is Amanda and for me home is where the head is. Physically I am rather attractive with my dark brown hair and brown eyes. I keep in good shape; after all you never know when I might need to compete for possession of my head or that 14 carat beauty over there. At over 1000 years old I have traveled all over the world. Even though I have spent the last millennium or so as a thief I have most recently tried to my hand at being running a bar in Paris, France. I am a survivor; I look out for number one. That isn't to say that I don't have those that I care about. I will do what I think is best for me or my friends whether or not anyone approves or appreciates it. So that may be an exaggeration, I do care what certain people think, hence my change of profession. Both Duncan and Nick somehow manage to create this small sense of guilt about my "wicked" ways. I'm not evil and I don't take pleasure in the suffering of others but I also don't always play by the rules. Both Duncan and Nick seem to think that I am capable of being a better person, and I try, but there are times that I miss that adrenaline rush I get from breaking the law. I may not be as strong as some immortals but I have the wits to play the game smart and come out with my head. Amanda is coming in from the end of Highlander the Raven and infact she has spent over a year in milliways bar before she will have found her way to this place. (This description was found on the Highlander the series DVD special features) Description of her sword: It's a double edged blade is straight with a lenticular cross-section that narrows to a rounded point sturdy enough to penetrate armor. Carved cross-guard quillions improve the chances for catching the opposing blade. A single ring protects the knuckles from an opponents slidding blade. A carved brass pommel balances the weight of the blade for an easy flow of cutting strokes. The extended finial concentrates force into a small area producing punishing pommel blows capable of splintering bone. This sword was given to Amanda in 850 AD by her teacher Rebecca.
